"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
Bob & Char Pittman
Pastor Bob Pittman: My wife and I have co-pastored together since 2007. We've been married since August of 1988 and we are blessed with two sons Bobby and Brandon. I lived a busy bi-vocational life since 1994. Since that time, I served as a youth pastor and later served as an associate pastor. In 2007 I stepped out in faith and accepted the senior pastors position and resigned from an executive position in the Software industry. I've ministered internationally, served as a seminar speaker, and enjoy ministering the love of Jesus through the gifts of the Spirit. Lastly, I have two goals: our first goal is to pastor people to be strong and healthy. People are important to us and to God. Our second goal is to win Barron County to Christ and plant churches throughout the region.
Pastor Char Pittman: I am originally from southern Louisiana. I went to International Bible College in San Antonio Texas in 1987 after graduating High School. That is where I met my husband Bob Pittman. We were married in August of 1988. After Bob and I were married, we lived in San Antonio for 2 years. We moved up to the Rice Lake area in 1991. We were blessed with 2 amazing sons who are both young men now. I have been in some form of ministry since 1991. In 2007 we had the privilege of becoming Senior Pastors of World Harvest USA. We are a local church with a global vision. I love serving the World Harvest family. And I love serving an amazing God!
Youth & Young Adult Ministers
Jake & Abby Lazar
By the grace of God and simply executing the vision of our church, we are actively growing two strong and healthy ministries that are actively preparing disciples who form other disciples. Contrary to American church culture; we have never been interested in building a big church, a huge youth group, or a popular young adults ministry. Although there is nothing wrong with those things, our church is far more interested in building strong people, showing them how huge their purpose is, and aiming to make Jesus famous everywhere we go. We believe that when we execute on those things, everything else will naturally follow.
Children's Church Director
Samantha De Yarman
Hi! It is such a honor and privilege to take on the role of Children's Church Director! I've been with World Harvest since April 2014 and also currently co-lead a Friendship Encounter in Relay. I have been working with kids for over 10 years, both in and out of the church, and have completed a Justice-focused Discipleship Training School under Youth With A Mission in 2013. What I thought was just a season of serving in Kids Church, beginning in August of 2015, has blossomed into something much more. Kids have always been one of my passions, cropping up continually throughout my life. I love seeing kids becoming rooted in Christ, learning to live life abundantly, and growing to become free, healthy, and strong while discovering their purpose.
I have been living in the Cameron/Rice Lake area since 2005, and have developed a love for the region. In the spring of 2016, I graduated from Crown College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry. In the spring of 2017, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from the same college.
Since serving the vision of World Harvest, my passion for both the vision and young people has grown. It is my greatest desire to see the pre-teens of this area become free, healthy, and strong disciples who come to find their purpose and live out the vision.
I was born and raised in Cumberland, WI. After graduating from International Bible College in San Antonio, TX I returned to Wisconsin where I have been an active member of World Harvest church my entire life. My husband, Rick, and I have 3 children as well as 10 grandchildren. We enjoy traveling, kayaking, cycle riding and time with friends and family. After retiring from a 32 year career in Law Enforcement I became the World Harvest Office Administrator in 2014 and I love it here!
